Simple Pleasures

How do i put into words
The beauty my eyes behold
In crisp, simple mornings
At once warm and cold?

How does one walk
And not see the trees
Majestic and tall
Wrestling the breeze?

How can you not hear
The morning prayer of doves
And whispered wings flying
In clear airs above?

What heartstring is so broken
And so out of tune
It cannot be mended
On a clear blue afternoon?

Oh gentle wind on my face
So quiet to my ears
I breathe in all the joy
With my eyes full of tears.

I believe I have remarked on this poem elsewhere and I still say it's a beautiful poem that puts an element of spirituality into nature. I particularly liked the third stanza with its internal rhyme that creates nice sound effects coupled with the end of line rhyme.
