pam Posted April 6, 2014 Report Share Posted April 6, 2014 A common thread binds all of us together. We have all been entrusted with the Priesthood of God. Our opportunities are limitless. We face multitudes of challenges. Courage is needed to make the correct decisions. The courage to do the right thing because it’s right. We will be called upon to defend that which we believe. Will we have the courage to do so? We are reluctant to declare our faith in some circumstances. We should do the right thing even when we are afraid. Even if threatened with loss of friends or social status. Are you the same person wherever you are and whatever you are doing? Quoting Jabari Parker’s father: “Be the same person in the dark as you are in the light.” We will all face fear, experience ridicule and experience opposition. Let us all have courage to stand for principle. Courage, not compromise, brings the smile of God’s approval. Be thou an example of the believers.
