pam Posted April 6, 2014 Report Share Posted April 6, 2014 We shouldn’t refer to the church as the Mormon Church or the LDS church. We need to use the full name of the church. We need to make it clear that we belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Extending an invitation without follow up is like buying a ticket and not attending. No matter how good your message is, you may not get a chance to deliver it without persistent consistent follow up. Inviting is part of the missionary process. It also includes follow up. We can all be more consistently involved in missionary work by replacing our fear with faith. We are encouraged to read and study “Preach My Gospel.” There are practical ways to help and support our missionaries. Can you imagine the impact if the words from Preach My Gospel were included in letters to our missionaries? If we follow up the Lord will not let us down. Primary children can be missionaries too.
