Twas drilled into my head in high school and college to put the period OUTSIDE the quote... with jerome's logic. And people wonder why the kids hate the English classes these days. prisonchaplain Posted August 25, 2014 Report Share Posted August 25, 2014 Our seminary used Turabian style, 5th edition in most classes. 2-spaces was standard. I had a couple of classes that called for APA, also 2 spaces. This string is the first I have heard that one-space was acceptable, much less preferred.
