Chi Hong (Sam) Wong - Saturday a.m. Session

(Spoken in his native language)

The work to assist Jesus Christ in saving souls was never too demanding.

This rescue assignment requires everyone to work together.

“To assist the Savior we have to work together in unity and in harmony.”

Every calling is important and we must work together.

Do we know anyone in our lives that is spiritually paralyzed that just can’t come back to the church by himself?

It could be one of our children, a parent, a spouse or a friend.

The Bishop can invite each member of the ward council to come with names of those who need assistance.

Full time missionaries are great resources to the ward in these rescue efforts.

Our combined faith will also affect others.

We can all help one another.

We should always be anxiously engaged in seeking to rescue those in need.

God is a God of miracles and loves us all.

He has the power to save and heal both spiritually and physically.

I kind of wish they had just used sub-titles so that we could just listen to the native language.

IMO, they needed to pick one or the other, and cut the extra audio out completely.  With the audio quality we had at the time, (nobody with keys showed up until 2 minutes before the session started, so nothing was set up, couldn't find all the cables, and ended up watching it from an older TV in the RS room instead of the projector in the chapel) the doubled-up voices made it hard to understand.

The rationale for the dubbing I've seen elsewhere (and it makes sense, as I watch the proceedings at home with five children under 8 years) is that the dubbing allows those who can't read to follow along.

Well you can just read it to them.  :P
