Carol F. McConkie - Sunday a.m. Session

Our Father in Heaven loves all of His children and desires that they understand His Plan of Happiness.

In the Lord’s true church there is never more than one on the earth that holds all of the keys of the Priesthood.

President Monson is the only one that can receive revelation for the entire church.

To be in harmony with heaven’s divine purposes we sustain the prophet and choose to live accord to his words.

They prophesy and do all things in the name of Christ.

We are grateful for a church built upon a foundation of the original 12 apostles and Jesus Christ.

God reveals His word through His ordained prophets.

When we choose to live according to the words of the prophets we are on the path to eternal life.

We have been commanded to sustain the Prophet.

According to the world’s standards, following the prophet may be unpopular.

Following the prophet is right.

Trust in the Lord.

The Lord honors and favors those that will follow prophetic direction.

The words of the prophets are like manna to our souls.

When we feast upon their words we learn how to come unto Christ and live.

When we heed the words of the prophets we build our homes and lives on a firm foundation.

We have a choice.  We may choose to ignore the words of Christ spoken by his ordained servants, but those that do so will be cut off.

May we choose to stand with the prophets.
