Do you remember the first time you knew there was a God and felt his love? We are all sons and daughters of God. When the Father created the earth, he did so through his own son. When the Savior was baptized the Father spoke from the heavens saying, “This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.” I testify that when we do what is necessary to know them and to know their love for one another, we will obtain "the greatest gifts of God", even eternal life. The scriptures teach that the Father and the Son are distinct personages. Jesus is a God but he separates himself by praying to His father. The restoration of the gospel began with not one but two glorified beings appearing to Joseph Smith. As you seek a personal witness, a personal revelation, you will discover that Heavenly Father has provided a special way to witness to you through the Holy Ghost. Ask God, in the name of Christ if these things are true. By the power of the Holy Ghost you will know with a surety the truth of all things. Heavenly Father wants us to seek this knowledge now. Your foundation is Jesus Christ. He is the rock of heaven. Our Savior is Jesus Christ and He lives. The Holy Ghost will testify to those who go and seeks this knowledge.
