David A. Bednar - Sunday p.m. Session

Thoughts are directed to those who are not members of the church.

Devoted disciples of Christ will always be mighty missionaries.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has always been a missionary church.

Latter-day Saints take this responsibility seriously to teach all people about the gospel.

When we invite you to church we are not trying to sell you something.

We are not trying to coerce you to believe as we do.

We are inviting you to ponder and pray that the things we are telling you are true.

Our invitations to you are not to diminish your own religious and traditional experience.

We feel a solemn responsibility to carry this message to every nation, kindred, tongue and people.

Our eagerness to declare this is not from a sense of duty.

“And they shall have cause to howl and weep and gnash their teeth.” (Regarding story told about his sons)

The greatest manifestation of God’s love is the mortal ministry and eternal sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We as members of the church have felt the anguish associated with spiritual uncertainty and sin.

The atonement of Jesus Christ provides the cleanser to become clean.

Also the protection to become good in times of bad.

Absolute truth exists in a world that dismisses it.

Jesus is the Christ, absolutely is the only begotten son of the Father.

The invitations we extend to you grow out of the positive affects the gospel has in our lives.

Our simple desire is to share with you the truths that are of the greatest worth to us.
