pam
The world is more distracting than it was 13 years ago. The young men and young women have many more distractions now. In the early days of the Church, missionaries were interviewed by a General Authority. Fortunately the Lord has ways to reach out to the missionaries. When deciding where to send you on a mission your picture is brought up. The leaders look into your eyes. Then it is decided where to send you. What we need now is the greatest generation of young adults as ever before. It’s time to raise the bar but also for returned missionaries and for your entire generation. Do you search the scriptures regularly. Do you kneel in prayer? Do you fast and donate a fast offering? Do you think deeply about the Savior and his atoning sacrifice for you? Do you attend your meetings and strive to keep the Sabbath Day Holy. Are you honest at home, school and church, Are you morally clean? Do you avoid looking at pornography? Are you careful with your time? Is there anything in your life that you need to change and fix beginning tonight? “RM” does not mean “Retired Mormon.” You should attend and graduate from seminary. You should attend institute classes. A careful, prayerful study of the gospel through gospel education classes can assist you in your goal. Do not think you are too busy to study the gospel. Classes and activities offered through the local institute will be a place that you can be with other young men and young men to inspire each other. Young singles adults...you need to date and get married. Don’t text her..use your actual voice. The Lord Jesus Christ can help us fix anything that needs fixed in our lives through the atoning sacrifice. Jesus Christ died as one final act of love for us. Be strong brethren. Keep the commandments of God.
Palerider
I loved this talk ...... One of the funniest lines he said was to the single adult men ..told them to go and meet her and speak with her face to face as opposed to texting her....who knows you might surprise her into saying Yes. pam
