Apparently, we’re not supposed to care if we don’t have long upon the land. But--lets be honest--that's not what he's saying, at least if the article is accurate. He's saying that he thinks his own opinions are right, those who disagree with him are wrong, and he hopes they'll change their minds. But--lets be honest--that's not what he's saying, at least if the article is accurate. He's saying that he thinks his own opinions are right, those who disagree with him are wrong, and he hopes they'll change their minds. It's pretty standard political fare. He IS the major cheerleader through virtue of his ownership of the bully pulpit. State gov'ts nave ALREADY begun to penalize people for following their conscience and not supporting homosexual marriage. To think the Fed govt will lose any time, not in hoping people will change their minds, but in using whatever means they have to punish Christians who don't support homosexual marriage to force them to change their minds is a flight of fantasy.
