Guest Godless
I can't wait to see if Tebow can survive with the Eagles. As someone who lives deep in the heart of Cowboy country, I really, truly hope he does well. Watching them lose to Colt McCoy was priceless. Watching them lose to Tebow would make my life complete. Palerider
I am praying for a big win over the stinking Patriots.

That said, I understand that his game isn't really compatible at the pro level. He's better than Manziel though.
beefche
The big news here is Reggie Wayne signing with the Stinking Pats. I can't blame the guy--Colts let him go and he wanted to stay one more year before retirement. A lot of Colts fan are upset with the organization for letting him go. So, while I will boo and hiss at the Pats, Reggie will still get a cheer.

My opinion. He doesn't, but if anyone can squeeze out the last few drops of talent from him, it's the Patriots. Sorry everyone.
beefche
People didn't think Peyton had anything left either after his surgeries. I think competitors will compete. But, I also think leaders will lead. I think Reggie could have been a great leader for us. We have a lot of new guys. But, I'm not signing his paycheck, so not my call. Guest Godless
If things don't work out with Manziel in Cleveland, I have a feeling he'll have a job waiting for him in Dallas.

I do too, but Manziel is the cheating ex your buddies told you to avoid and you ignored them. You want him? He's yours. I'm a Raiders fan and I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole. Guest
Let it be known that when everybody, including my husband, was raving about Johnny Football on draft day I was the sane one who said - he'll be a flash in the pan and get benched for stupidity. Called it. Edited November 30, 2015 by anatess

Vort
I hate to kick a guy when he's down -- even when, as in Manziel's case, he seems to deserve kicking. I am not a pro football fan, and don't really even follow the college game much, but Manziel always looked a little small to me to be playing on Sundays. Given his self-hype, I can't say I'm surprised (or disappointed) to see the expectations tempered a bit.

He's also makes bad life choices, and that leads to on the field mistakes. His teammates can't stand him, his coach doesn't trust him and in reality he has no one to blame but himself.
