Special Snowflakes...

I can't post the link due to the extreme cursing involved, but back in October the website Motherboard did a write-up on a situation in which SJWs drove someone to attempt suicide because of extreme harassment and death threats due to how she drew characters from certain popular cartoon series, such as drawing a "fat" character as being thinner than they actually were.

Fortunately, at least two individuals who were lobbing the death threats wound up having to deal with the police.

As owners of a high end gun shop called Gunsmith Gallery, they commissioned two Tube Dude sculptures. One was a man holding a rifle the other was a woman holding a hand gun.

With a location on a particularly busy stretch of road the sculptures caught the attention of people passing by-- some in a negative way.

"We had a couple of phone calls from people saying they were afraid," said Kelly Ireland. "They thought somebody was shooting at them, which we totally understand."

One of those passing by filed a complaint with the county and code enforcement told the Irelands the dudes had to move back from the road, but the Irelands feel like they're being singled out.

"You can go all over this county and see Tube Dudes, sometimes multiple Tube Dudes, right up against the sidewalk and no one has ever said 'oh you can't do that,'" said Kelly Ireland.

Interestingly enough, critics took aim at the Tube Dudette more than anything.  That's why she now has a home in the store's back room.

Tribune News Service movie reviewer Katie Walsh effectively declared the film "Deadpool" sexist because of how "surprisingly old-fashioned" it is when it comes to depicting female characters.

She also declared that if the people who did the film really wanted to be innovative they'd give one of the female heroes her own movie.

...Never mind the fact that said female character had her powers and abilities played up to compensate for the fact that they didn't have the money to include a third male hero character in the cast; she had to take over some of his screen time.

Kanye West has announced that he's $53 million in the hole, with at least $16 million of that due to his having to prop up his overpriced line of clothing.

He's now asking Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook for money, claiming that he deserves it simply because he's Kanye West.

A woman had a snit fit after a man asked whether or not a certain fast-food place offered a military discount; in her eyes, the presence of such a discount means that the military is "privileged".

I'm willing to forgo the discount for hotter and fresher French fries and maybe extra onions on my burger. :) Ok, I lied, I want the discount too, I'm cheap.

The Nashville chapter of Black Lives Matter is up in arms because they were told they can't discriminate against whites.

They were meeting in the Nashville public library until someone complained that the group refused to allow white members. The library workers investigated the situation, and discovered that this was indeed the case. City policy forbids allowing any group that discriminates on the basis of race from meeting in city-owned facilities, and so the chapter was asked to open up to include whites.

A San Francisco-based tech executive wrote a letter talking about how all of the homeless in the city are a massive buzzkill that he wishes would just go away.
