Glad you had a good one Backroads. Um, sorry to steal your thunder but mine has been good as well. Looking forward to a quiet evening watching baseball and listening to music.

I'm tall, good looking, and humble. I'm breathing on my own. How can I complain?

Lehi

I just had an image of you in a Superman pose with your hands on your side reciting this in the mirror each morning - hah!

Oh!  Let me tell you.  I had such a great day.

A vendor had to tell us they messed up their arrangement which made me have to redesign a significant portion of my work.

A client told me that my primary contact on their side was just let go.

I learned that my company is almost out of work.

My home project (remodeling my kitchen) is messed up enough that I'm thinking about scrapping it and starting over.  On the same project, I can't seem to find the right drill bit to drill through stone.  I'm even using the right type of bit.  But they're all burning out.  Am I getting the wrong brand?

I've recently gotten several superficial injuries (from the remodeling) that have added up to the point that they are making me walk funny.

I messed up quite a bit on several things going on in my life.

Yes, good times...  Sorry for being such a downer.  But you did ask.

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE

My wife and kids still love me.  My son, Ffenix is out of state working with his uncle for several months and seems to be loving it.  He's learning a lot and having fun with friends.

The family is beginning Kuk Sool Won (a type of Korean Martial art) next week or so.

And I've got a small project going on my side job.

Do tell!

I'm glad you had a good day. All I did was forget my breastpump and still have a scheduling error at work. One teacher came to me bawling because she has, in behavior and skills, the class I had last year (the craziest class my maternity sub had seen in 40 years of teaching) including two runners and the infamous Violent Porn Kid and it's her student teaching year. A friend is horribly ill. My husband wrecked his car.

It was nice to come home and have had a fairly good day.

I remember telling a friend a few weeks back that I'd been having an "Even Steven" day.  For everything bad that happened, something directly related that was good came of it.

My son, Bear, got injured during scout camp -- neck injury.  None of the camp staff knew what to do.  But one of the leaders from our ward was also an EMT.  He got to Bear before any of the staff could do anything else but stand agape at my son.  The EMT checked him out and pronounced him fine.

I had a bad thing at work which was again, directly related to a good thing that followed.

Seriously, about a dozen things happened in one week that made me realize I was Even Steven.

Friday I had breakfast with friends, saw everything I wanted to at Temple Square, went to my niece's sealing, hung out with my brothers and their kids, resolved a family history brick wall at the FH Library, went to a Chinese market and authentic restaurant with family, then ended out the day watching a movie with them. That was one of the best days ever.

Of course the best part was having breakfast with me. :P

Listened to stake conference broadcast from Bro Ballard. Very inspired. He was full of praise and also had some advice. Be cautious about information which does not reflect church teachings that is taught in classes. Get spiritual nourishment daily eg read scriptures. Speak kindly to family members. Avoid pornography and other unsuitable media. Good talk!
