@seashmore. May I be struck dead for suggesting this but..I wish a secretary or someone could copy a few sentences of what is said in the lesson and send them out in the monthly email.

Your ward RS just started doing this.

So am I dead now?

LOL, I meant to type "my" ward.  I think if you are dead we both are (since we're communicating) and that would be a huge disappointment since I'm hoping for a rest in the next life which I'm not feeling yet! n

What do you think? Maybe a way to include those with 3rd hour callings?

That is definitely a unit-centric decision. Right now, everyone in our branch is stretched pretty thin, service wise. (Which reminds me...I should prepare a backup lesson topic in case whoever our branch presidency has been trying to call as a senior youth Sunday school doesn't have a lesson ready. Although, one of them did whip up a decent ten minute job during sacrament meeting. There are too many youth to combine, and we don't even have a Sunday School president.)

My! Good for you to prepare a backup lesson! You have a heavy load!

haha...by "backup lesson" I mean "think of something to talk about." Right now, the class is only YW, and I can't leave them hanging like that! (Now that I think about it, there's a 15 year old teacher who should probably be in there, since my 15 year old Mia Maid is. Eh. We have branch council this week, so I may bring it up there.)
