Can you see the future? Moroni 10:3-5 recommends: "...remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall [seek a revelation, about anyhting worthwhile], and ponder [Hs mecy, as manifest in the things He has done and given you] in your hearts. And when ye shall [desire a worthy revelation], ...ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if [what yu want to know is true]; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost." Also D&C 9:8-9, "...you must study it out in your mind; then you must ask me if it be right, and if it is right I will cause that your bosom shall burn within you; therefore, you shall feel that it is right. But if it be not right you shall have no such feelings, but you shall have a stupor of thought that shall cause you to forget the thing which is wrong..." Yes, I have had a revelation that showed a particular series of future events, and they have since comes to pass. But I wasn't asking for this, it came in addition to God's response to a separate, specific question I had. wenglund
