More "restoration" to come

There is no doubt in my mind that the ice flowing down is a physical reference to the North Pole ice caps.

This might seem a bit nitpicky, but there is no ice cap at the North Pole.   As mentioned, the North Pole is over the ocean.    Greenland has the ice cap (with smaller ones on Baffin Island and Ellesmere Island).   There is floating sea ice at the North Pole.   This is known as the Arctic Ice Pack.  It is not an icecap.   There is a (big) difference.

Yes, being nitpicky. Lets just call it ice.

I am sure they are a completely separate group. In D&C 110 it reads-

11 After this vision closed, the heavens were again opened unto us; and Moses appeared before us, and committed unto us the keys of the gathering of Israel from the four parts of the earth, and the leading of the ten tribes from the land of the north.

It speaks of two geographic locations. They are 1. The four parts of the earth. This is where parts of all tribes have been scatteted on the earth. This is all of the exterior topography of the earth. And 2. The land of the north. This is where the lost tribes were led. They are called lost rather than scatteted because their entire body is not found among the scattered tribes. They and their whereabouts are completely and entirely lost to us.

There is no doubt in my mind that the ice flowing down is a physical reference to the North Pole ice caps. The highway springing up in the midst of the great deep goes along with this in that out of the ocean, or from under it will come the lost tribes.

Except that the north is one of the symbolic 4 corners (parts) of the earth - not separate.  The other 3 parts or corners are the south, the west and the east.  Also a careful reading reveals that the return of Israel (including the Lamanites)  will not come as a block or group but rather as a "remnant" as per the parable of the olive tree and the grafting of branches rather than the whole tree.  It is also interesting that the scriptures refer to Gog and Magog (and plays a most important role in the final conflict between good and evil) as the land in the "North" - which is basically in Western Iraq and not much more north than New York City.

But there is the question concerning what it means to be lost.  Is it unknown to anyone or is it separated (lost) from the covenant?

Remember, you're trying to have a rational conversation with someone who believes the earth is hollow and that people have survived for over two millennia hidden within that hollow space.

The scriptures specify that the lost tribes in the north countries are not part of the four corners of the earth.

The way some people use quotes, I'm surprised no one has used this to say that Pres Nelson has revealed that the WoW now includes having to take vitamin pills to qualify for a temple recommend.

What happened to this thread?

Well, let's take a look.

  • The OP asked about future restoration of "stuff".
  • People began bringing up scriptures and latter-day quotes regarding the Last days and the End Times.
  • People began discussing them.
  • People began speculating about them.
  • People began speculating about the gathering of Israel.
  • Then the hollow earth began to rear its empty head.
  • Then people threw their hands up and said,"My Give Up."

Just to reiterate the blatantly obvious, you're carrying on a conversation with a person who believes the hollow earth delusion.

How can the earth be hollow and flat!? I think the flat Bigfoot theory is more accurate. It explains why we’ve never had a head-on picture of the Bigfoot!

Welcome, CACO12.

Most of us here are actually sane.  Just hang around and you'll find that I'm not one of them.  (maniacal laughter).  Just kidding.
