Nelson, the current president and prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The celebration will be held September 6, 7:00 p.m. MDT at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City. President Dallin H. Oaks of the First Presidency stated that “These types of celebrations, … give us inspiring insight into the lives of those chosen by God to serve as His prophets.” The celebration will invite audience members to learn about the man who has served as president and prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since January 14, 2018. A combination of music, tributes, and insights will let people see how the Lord has prepared this man to lead His church in these days. More information about the performance will come in the following weeks. Tickets will become available on ChurchofJesusChrist.org on July 30, 10:00 a.m. MDT.
