Anddenex
I suppose my bishop who likened growth to the making of a samurai sword should stop also. I mean, we are all not swords. We are flesh. The sword is steel. There is no pain to the metal becoming a sword, and there is pain for the natural man to become like God. The Lord is able to make whatever comparison he wants that will teach his children principles. If you don't like a comparison, well, we all have our opinion. After all, how many videos do you watch on Jehovahs Witnesses websites? Every single one. But I lie.

NeuroTypical
Well, if you hated the StarWars one, you'll absolutely loathe the new Stranger Things one that showed up today. I'm not even going to bother posting the link. I'm a sort-of-half fan of Stranger Things, and while I got all the references, I thought it was stupid. I can feel my desire to mention such things on this forum leaking out of me as I type. Edited October 4, 2019 by NeuroTypical
Vort
I've thought a lot about the topic of Brother Snell's latest column. I'm inclined to agree with just about everything he wrote, though my nuances might be a bit different from his. In the main, I think he and I see things pretty much the same. So when I say "good column" for this one, I'm not necessarily talking about his writing style or whether he considered all the angles. I'm mainly saying, "Yeah, that's more or less what I would have written on the topic." Which Brother Snell may or may not take as a compliment, but there you have it.
