So all that matters is what Americans think. "Objective reality" is of no importance, and probably doesn't even exist.

I disagree, and could hardly imagine a more cynical attitude.

That's interesting. Why is regionally majority attitudes the only thing relevant? Do you think that is a useful metric for what is moral?
