In this episode, Dave talks about a Hebraism found in the text of The Book of Mormon called “If/And Conditionals.” In English we make If/Then statements, but in ancient Hebrew they had the option of making If/And statements. We find several If/And statements in early versions of The Book of Mormon, which provide further textual evidence of the authenticity of the book, and by implication, the authenticity of the truth claims of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
