Today on 3 Mormons, we talk about whether or not members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as Mormons or LDS) believe in ghosts.
Kwaku, Justin, and David all share the experiences they’ve had with ghosts. Kwaku emphasizes the importance of staying close to Jesus Christ.
Mimi says that she hasn’t had an experience with a ghost but speaks about the importance of ministering angels who are helping us on this earth. She reads a quote about the spirit world being here on this earth and that we can experience the positive influence of our ancestors who have gone on.

(To provide additional answers: Do Mormons believe in ghosts? This isn’t really a yes or no question. The problem with the question lies in the word ‘ghost.’ Ultimately, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has no firm doctrine on ghosts. Similarly, the Church has no firm doctrine on ‘hauntings’ (that a ‘ghost’ remains in a certain area to scare or communicate with anyone who enters the area). ((Reminder: Just because the Church has no firm doctrine on it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Having no firm doctrine simply means that they do not confirm nor deny the reality of the subject.)) The Church does, however, have doctrine of spirits and angels.)
