Hey guys! Welcome to our second week of our new channel Unofficial Missionaries!
This video talks about our core belief in God and the ways that He shows us His love as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as Mormons or LDS). We will talk about Heavenly Father (God) and Jesus Christ and all that they do to guide us in our lives today.
Justin and Izzy talk about the restoration of the gospel, or the very basic beginnings of the “Mormon” religion (accurately known as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints). This is likely the first lesson you will hear when the missionaries talk to you for the first time. They talk about Joseph Smith, Jesus Christ, and Heavenly Father. They talk about how everyone can receive ‘revelation’ or inspiration from God and the importance of that relationship.
