The Mormon Pioneers trekked across the country in search of a place of refuge, a place of hope, and ultimately, a place where God needed them to be in order to accomplish His work.
Many people suffered excruciating pain and sickness and even death on their trek across the country. While it was certainly a time of difficulty and heartache, the saints were strong. They knew what needed to be done and they kept moving forward.
In this video, Elder Nelson emphasizes the importance of endurance in all things. Like the pioneers, we can endure the trials and hardships of the day.
