Descriptions:
In this episode, Dave talks about Article of faith #6 and #7 of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church or LDS Church). Article #6 states, “We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.”
Dave outlines some of the similarities between the organization of Christ’s ancient church compared with the modern church. He also testifies of the reality of the “gifts of the Spirit” as outlined in Article of Faith #7, which states,
“We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.”
Dave discusses what the gift of tongues really is, and poses some experiences you might have had with revelation in your life.
