Descriptions:
In ancient times, God let his servants sometimes use inanimate objects as divine tools. For example, Aaron’s staff, Moses’ metal serpent, and the Urim and Thummim. Just like in ancient times, God helped Joseph Smith translate The Book of Mormon by allowing him to use inanimate divine tools called “seer stones.” In this episode, Dave talks about what they are, how they’re used, and why it’s nothing to freak out about.
The Book of Mormon is believed by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon or LDS Church) as a sacred text and another testament of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon contains the word of God and is complimentary to the Bible.
