An Important Reminder: You Are Not Alone
Caden tells a story from his own life about a time when he felt a strong and repetitive prompting from the Holy Spirit to reach out to Tyler, a friend of his to let him know that he isn’t alone. Tyler seemed like he was happy and loving life, so Caden was initially hesitant to answer the prompting. He almost felt a little embarrassed to tell Tyler that he was there for him so randomly. But Caden realized that God knows all, and if He knows all, He definitely knows better than Caden here. When Caden finally reached out, he was met with a phone call from Tyler that was full of tears and gratitude. At that very moment that Caden reached out, Tyler was contemplating ending his own life. Because Caden followed the seemingly simple prompting from God, he was able to help Tyler live another day.
If you ever feel afraid or embarrassed or even too busy to act on a prompting from God, just remember that “the Lord that knows all, also happens to know better than we do.” You could change someone’s day… or even their life.
And more importantly, if you ever feel like no one cares or like you are alone in this great big world… There are people who care about and for you deeply. You have a Father in Heaven who knows you perfectly and loves you unconditionally. You have a Savior who knows exactly what you are going through and will be with you through it all. You are loved and you are needed.
