Descriptions:

Marcellus’ mother was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but his father was not. After learning the Book of Mormon was true as a child, he wanted to become baptized but was told by his parents he had to wait till he was 18 years old. As Marcellus went through high school, he became more and more disconnected from God and lost his faith. While in college, he avoided the LDS missionaries, until a random encounter with them led him to re-discover the truth he once knew.
