In this episode, Dave talks about Article of Faith #9 of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the LDS Church or Mormon Church). It states, “We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.”
Revelation is divine communication from God to us, his children. It’s extremely important to Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as Mormons). David explains that revelation isn’t just something that happened in Bible times. It’s happening today and will continue to happen in the future. The heavens are not closed. God communicates to modern prophets (just as He did with past prophets) through revelation, but He can also communicate to you, personally, through revelation.
