Kristy Wheelwright Taylor serves as the board secretary for the Wilford Woodruff Papers Foundation and helps with transcription and writing on the Wilford Woodruff Papers Project. Kristy’s new book is called ‘Prepare Me For Thy Use: Lessons From Wilford Woodruff’s Mission Years.’
I wanted to speak to Kristy about the many marvellous stories of Wilford Woodruff, the fourth President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Wilford was famous for record-keeping and so we have so many documents showing us who Wilford really was and the incredible impact he has had on Latter-day Saints past, present, and future.
Some highlights from this episode include the earliest audio recording in Latter-day Saint history, Wilford’s many close shaves with death, and the miracles he experienced while serving a mission in England.
