The Temple: A Miracle in Itself
At times, when we visit the temple, we go expecting miracles or answers to our prayers, only to feel like heaven is silent. It can feel like God is distant, or like we’ve been “left on read.” Sound familiar? Seeking something profound, but not receiving the answers you hoped for.
However, the temple itself is a miracle. It’s a sacred place that brings us closer to heaven, where we can feel the presence of God and angels. The opportunity to be in such a holy space is a blessing in itself, one that we sometimes overlook in our search for immediate answers.
In the temple, we also make covenants and receive ordinances that bind us to our Heavenly Father and to each other for eternity. The priesthood power to seal families together is a profound gift. Even if specific miracles don’t always come when we expect them, the temple is, in itself, a powerful miracle that we should never take for granted.
