The question of why priesthood keys were given to men, and not women, is rooted in the divine purpose behind creation. In God’s perfect plan, women were entrusted with the sacred role of nurturing and bringing life into the world. To protect and support this vital role, God created man, not to dominate, but to provide and protect women as they fulfill their divine purpose. Man was given priesthood keys as part of his sacred responsibility to provide for, protect, and empower women in their divine roles. The priesthood is a tool for blessing others, starting with the women in his life, and is a call to service and humility. This responsibility requires man to use his innate qualities of strength and leadership in righteous ways, reflecting God’s love.
