For almost 200 years now, people have claimed that the Book of Mormon is chock-full of anachronisms. In this episode, Dave used the research of scholar Matthew Roper to look at those claims, and how they have changed over time. While we may not yet have answers for every single claim, time certainly seems to be on the side of the prophet Joseph Smith.

Roper and I have been in contact and the figures in this video are based on his most up-to-date research (as of Jan. 2020). These figures are, of course, subject to further change in the future as Roper publishes more on this topic.
