In this episode, Stephen, Justin, and Kwaku talk about the many sources of credible information about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church). There are many books, articles, and websites that talk about the Church, but which are trustworthy?
Stephen talks about the importance of reading a variety of views about the Church but being careful about the truthfulness of each source. He also mentions Joseph Smith as an example of someone who studied a significant amount before receiving many of his prolific revelations — thus signifying an additional reason to study often.
Justin talks about the importance of critical thinking. Developing critical thinking skills isn’t just beneficial for studying religious doctrine but will prove to be beneficial throughout life.
