Descriptions:
In this episode, Dave talks about the age-old debate: Is salvation a product of God’s grace or our own works? The short answer: GOD’S GRACE. The long answer: In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (also known as the Mormons) there’s a difference between salvation and exaltation. To understand the difference, check out the video below. Latter-day Saints do believe some works, such as baptism, are necessary for exaltation. That said, the purpose of baptism is not to earn exaltation. Ultimately, salvation and exaltation are gifts from God that we could never “earn” on our own.
