In August of 2014, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced that the 2015 Mutual Theme would be adapted from Doctrine and Covenants section 4, verse 2. Now, leaders can access additional resources to help them introduce the theme to the young men and young women.
Leaders can download helpful videos, music, articles and images at youth.churchofjesuschrist.org/theme/2015. All of the songs and videos this year were created by youth, according to Church News. Bonnie L. Oscarson, Young Women general president, states,
We hope that youth, leaders, and families will be inspired by these resources to find ways to serve others in Christ-like ways and to share their light with the world through responsible use of social media.
The video posted above is available on the youth.churchofjesuschrist.org website, and encourages youth to serve those around them.
Additional resources—such as free songs and sheet music—will be added to LDS.org and published in Church magazine throughout 2015.
