New LDS.org Menus Easier to Navigate

LDS.org will release updated navigation menus mid-May 2015 in efforts to make the site more personalized and easier to use for members and nonmembers.

Over the past few years, users of LDS.org have provided feedback on the usability of the website. Users agreed that resources were difficult to find and navigating the site was often confusing.

Jeff Isom, director of LDS.org, said that the older version of the website reminded him of the scripture, “For there are many … who are only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it” (D&C 123:12).

In order to provide a website that was easier to navigate, LDS.org has updated the My Account and Ward options, added new menu options and also added a few sub-pages with additional resources. Isom thinks that the updates will bring more visitors to LDS.org, “The goal of improving the website is to help visitors find and use the great resources available to them on the site.”
