Relief Society President: Women Can and Must Change the World
Relief Society General President Camille N. Johnson has issued a powerful call to action:
We have received prophetic guidance that as sisters we can and must change the world.
This message, shared on March 16, 2025, resonates with millions of women in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints around the world. More than an inspirational affirmation, it is an invitation to actively prepare for the Second Coming of the Savior Jesus Christ.

How do we accomplish this? President Johnson reminds us that wherever we are, we can create a covenant community centered on Jesus Christ. With innate gifts and willing hearts, we can serve and care for others, reflecting the love of our Savior.
A Global Mission with Eternal Impact
The Relief Society is not just an organization, but a global force for good. President Johnson highlighted the opportunity for women to participate in the Church’s global welfare initiative, which focuses on maternal and newborn care, infant nutrition, immunizations, and education.
We can do it one mother, one woman, one child at a time, just as the Savior would,” he taught. Simple actions in our homes and communities can make a difference.

From the historic Red Brick Store in Nauvoo, Illinois, where the Relief Society was organized in 1842, President Johnson and her counselors reminded us that today, more than ever, we continue to form a global covenant community.
We are women of covenant. And together we bear witness that we are committed to the work of our Savior,” she expressed gratitude.
The Power of God in Our Lives
Elder Dale G. Renlund of the Quorum speaks from Hawaii during the Relief Society worldwide devotional broadcast on Sunday, March 16, 2025.
Elder Dale G. Renlund of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles also shared a compelling testimony:
God loves, knows, and values women . Jesus Christ is aware of their circumstances and desires to bless them.
Quoting President Russell M. Nelson recalled that “ The Kingdom of God is not, and cannot be, complete without women who make and keep sacred covenants .”
Women who keep their covenants have access to God’s power to face life’s challenges. This is not an abstract force, but a divine power that transforms and strengthens.
An Invitation to Act
The message is clear: Relief Society women have an essential role in the Lord’s work. From our homes to the farthest corners of the world, we can make a difference for good.
El Salvador is counting on us. The Church is counting on us. Are you ready to accept the call and be a light to the world?
