3 Life-Changing Lessons Learned from Serving a LDS Mission
After returning from his two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Alec wants to share three key lessons that have deeply impacted his life:
1. Jesus Christ is My Best Friend
The most powerful lesson Alec learned is that Jesus Christ is not just a Savior but a true friend. “He died for me, He lives for me, and He is with me.”
2. The Book of Mormon is True
Alec gained a personal witness that the Book of Mormon is true scripture, alongside the Bible. It offers peace, guidance, and answers to life’s challenges, and its teachings are as relevant today as they were in ancient times.
3. Families Can Be Together Forever
Through Jesus Christ, families can be sealed together for eternity. Knowing that we can be with our loved ones forever brings comfort and joy.
Serving a mission has blessed Alec’s life in countless ways, and he is incredibly grateful for the lessons learned and the opportunity to grow closer to Jesus Christ.
