Repentance: A Message of Love and Hope
Repentance is often misunderstood as a reminder of our shortcomings, a word that brings guilt and shame. However, after listening to a talk by Sister Tamara W. Runia in General Conference, this sister realized she had been viewing repentance all wrong. Instead of seeing it as condemnation, she now understands it as an invitation from God to improve and grow each day.
Repentance isn’t about guilt; it’s about hope. It’s about trusting God to help us do better and become better versions of ourselves. Rather than focusing on shame, repentance is meant to inspire hope, healing, and transformation.
