Have you ever been to a YSA FHE? Or maybe those acronyms are totally foreign to you… Either way, today Justin takes us to his Young Single Adult Family Home Evening (lonnnggggg acronyms for the win) where they carve pumpkins for Halloween!
**INFORMATION ABOUT YSA AND FHE**
Young Single Adult wards (YSA wards) are most found near college campuses where there is a large population of members of the Church (otherwise known as Mormons or LDS). Anyone who isn’t married and is between the ages of 18-29 is encouraged to attend a YSA ward in order to get to know people around their age. Also, members of the Church are encouraged to have Family Home Evening (FHE) once a week. Family Home Evening is a time for the family to get together once a week to grow closer through games, scriptures, or whatever else it may be.
During this particular YSA FHE, Justin and his group sing a hymn found in the LDS Hymnbook followed by a prayer and then a discussion on a spiritual insight. Afterwards, they carve pumpkins! What do you think about Justin’s pumpkin? Is it as good as you thought??
