The Book of Mormon is a collection of books written about the teachings of Jesus Christ, similar to the Bible. The Book of Mormon was translated to English in the mid-1830s by Joseph Smith. It is used by Latter-day Saints (known as Mormons or members of the LDS Church, though the official name is “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints). In this episode, we talk about the importance of the Book of Mormon, why we have the Book of Mormon, and why it’s important to read the Book of Mormon.
