Deseret Industries Is More Than Just a Store
Did you know that Deseret Industries provides job training to enable people to learn skills to find a better job and be self-reliant?
@church.history.matters You may have shopped there before, but did you know that employees of Deseret Industries are offered job training and assistance? That way, if a person is out of work, they can get a job with Deseret Industries, but while they’re working they can work toward a career and set themselves up to have more permanent employment. This is just one of the many aspects of the Church Welfare Program that helps and blesses people, and it all grew out of the principles of consecration.
