Prompting to Serve an LDS Mission
“I prayed to God and I asked Him whether I should serve a mission or not. I was working at Target at the time. During the middle of my shift, there was this young man.. he was dressed in all black and he had blonde hair. He was through the exit. He says, ‘have a good day Elder Decker!’ I didn’t really tell anyone that I was thinking about serving a mission. I also didn’t recognize this guy. I was in complete shock! To this day, I still don’t know who he is and I’ve never seen him before again. It was quite the answer that God was calling me Elder Decker and He wanted me to serve a mission.”
