I'm pretty sure you're correct...I do remember Pres Hinckley saying something like this; I thought it was a conference talk, howerver. Maybe not. Some time ago President Hinckley was speaking of the LDS church as it relates to other religions of the world. I'm looking to find his exact quote. I'll paraphrase what he said: he mentioned that there was truth in all religions and it would be great if they could bring us their truths and let us build upon them. Something like this.
