Yes, thank you that has cleared some things up now. I have had the previlage of doing the baptisim's for the dead in my local temple. It was an honour for me as I had only been batized for about a mounth at that point I think. I did allready hold the Aaronic priesthood though, not sure if that had to be so to do it though? The reason I said about the Sister's is because recenlty a Sister from my ward said that she was told by her Bishop that she could not go through the temple until she was getting married. She also is a convert. She is 21 years old, and said thats the standard policy for Sister's? But not for the males (going through the temple)

Hey, i got Baptized this July just gone. I'm looking to go through the Temple after one year of me being Baptized. The Missionary's have said I can (if worthy) recive the Endowment at this point. But when reading some Church publications they seem to say you will only be able to go through the Temple 1. Before you go on a Mission (of which I am to old) or 2. before getting married (which I can't see happening within that time period) Btw, I am Male, thought id mention as I recently heard that Sister's cannot be Endowed unless they are doing one of the above two. I am now slightly confused as to wether if im worthy I will be able to go through the Temple now in July/Agust of next year? Can anyone help clarify?
