What if my mother is divorced and doesn't plan on remarrying? Can we still be sealed?

Hi I have a question. Can parents be sealed for eternity with children? What I mean is if I became a good standing member of the LDS church and was using the temple and my mother also became a member of the church, could we be together in heaven? I hope it makes sense what I am saying. \Thanks guys :)
