Thank, everyone! I had actually found instructions on how to care for worn out garments already, believe it or not. As for what part of Oregon, I am from a small town outside of Portland at the foot of Mt. Hood.

:blink::bighug:I'm new to the forum. Converted and baptized about 5 years ago now. Currently staying with my aging Mormon in-laws in southern Utah while my husband remains at home with his job in Oregon. They needed me so I came, but I am rather lonely for home and loved ones. There are still many things about LDS belief and practice that I don't know. For example (I hope I am not being too indelicate), how am I to wash and care for my mother-in-law's garments? I have searched all over the web and can't seem to find an answer!..... Glad to find this new sight! I look forward to learning all the little details that those of you who were born and raised in the faith already know.
