This is probably going to seem like a strange request, but I'm going through an extremely difficult time in my life right now. I can't get into why as it's too painful to discuss in an open forum, but to some extent it does have to do with the LDS church. I've been trying to come up with ways to deal with what I'm going through, and it occurred to me that maybe a good option would be to speak with a Mormon bishop. I just really need someone to talk to, and it being someone knowledgeable in the Mormon church seems like a wise idea.
I suppose my questions are: Would a Mormon bishop be willing to set aside time for a non-member (even if the discussion has nothing to do with joining the church)? And, if so, how would I go about getting in contact with a local bishop?
Thanks for your time.
