Yikes! Was he banned for what he posted in this thread? I'm a new member, too, and I don't know what flies or doesn't around here. I think it was pretty obvious that he was just insecure, and used sports as a way to feel like he belonged and mattered. When I was a kid, I would have loved to play music, but my dad wouldn't let me and signed me up for the little league team. Baseball was my only outlet for SO many years! I only realized how much time I had wasted when I bombed out of the minor leagues. I've still got my glory days, though!

So glad I finally found an active Mormon board on the net! I first became aware of the LDS church when I became interested in a Mormon girl in one of my college classes. We've been sort of dating for a while, now, and she's just awesome to spend with, but there are some things she does that seem really weird. She doesn't like to talk about her faith, so I don't really know anything about it! On our first date, we went out to a cafe. I was going up to the counter to get us drinks and I asked her what she wanted. She said all she wanted was a bottle of water. I thought she might just be trying to be polite because she knows I'm a college kid and I don't have a lot of money, but I wanted to impress her so i got us both grande lattes. When I got back she looked at me really funny and didn't even touch her drink! I felt like an idiot so I went back to get her her bottle of water, and then things went smoothly from there. The most recent time we went out (probably like the sixth time), I tried to kiss her goodnight but she just swung away away from me and mumbled goodnight before she shut the door in my face. Are Mormons allowed to kiss? Is there a special way that you need to do it if you're going to kiss a mormon?? Thanks in advance, everyone!!! -BigBOSS
