    I don't know that it matters in the overall point of the question but, since it was specifically addressing the FLDS....Emma Smith was not of that group/organization. She was a part of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints now known as the Community of Christ. The FLDS are a separate group.
